There were no flight issues and I am now safe and sound in southern California, Orange County, at my Team leader's home (Walter and Lisa Chu).
I took a walk this afternoon while Walter and Lisa finished packing. The climate, architecture, and environment is very different, but it's really neat to get a glimpse of another part of America, before we head to Japan. Our flight leaves from LAX at 10:00 on June 18th!
So next stop: Seattle, then finally.... TOKYO!
